The original drive was a very dull, tarmac area. Our client wanted to brighten it up and create more space. We removed the lawn and replaced it with a mix of shrub and perennial plants. The driveway structure was also important - we kept it interesting and soft by incorporating curves

These "before and after" photos show the transformation that Greenstone achieved with this front driveway. The black tarmac has been replaced with brick pathways and kerbing, and a natural stone chip carpark which is is fixed in place.

When the homeowners asked Greenstone to relandscape their back garden, they decided it was also time to give their front driveway a facelift. Greenstone removed the existing concrete and replaced it with an attractive cobblestone and gravel drive. Overgrown, evergreen bushes were replaced with slow growing, colourful plants, in beds now borded by cobblestone. The lawn area was reduced too, to increased their car parking space.

A great driveway - sober grey cobblestones and colourful gravel make a wonderful contrast.
