Goatstown Garden |
Greenstone were responsible for construction of this modern garden with quite simple and very low maintenance planting. The deck is in cedar with each board was specially machined to obtain a clean cut. The shed at the back is clad in larger ceder boards which were also specially machined to obtain a really clean cut look. The stone is an imported german limestone and is pointed with a flexible tile grout. See how this garden looks one year on by scrolling to the bottom of the photos.

The plants and flowers are flourishing, providing a lush green backdrop. | |

Small Garden In Blackrock |
Lots of ideas here for the smaller garden! The tree stump which could not be removed was turned into a water feature. A vibrant purple wall helped to screen the shed and was lit up at night. Boundry wall was cladded in ceder to create texture and interest.
The timber bench seat is a permanent structure to save dragging chairs and tables from the shed. Imported limestone paving was used to create contrast between coloured walls and timber.

Garden With Play Area |
This garden in consists of very simple brick work and paving that ties in with the existing brick work on the house. A central lawn area has been kept as a children's play area. Raised planting beds will provide plenty of colour as the garden matures.

Chinese Slate Garden |
A standard garden with little interest has been brought to life - with lots of interesting corners and hideaways. Chinese slate paving unifies the garden and camouflages the storage shed. A gazebo will in time provide a "window" through the garden. |

Minimalist Garden |
Simple changes made a big difference to this small garden. The existing walls were over 100 years old, still solid but of not great beauty. We replastered them to brighten the garden up. A traditional built-in charcoal bbq, paving with uplighters to illuminate the walls at night and a raised herb bed built with hardwood seat added a relaxed, contemporary touch.
